ForUA is a charity born from lived experience, established by leaders who have been directly engaged since the war in Ukraine escalated in 2022. Our mission is to address critical gaps in global humanitarian aid, focusing on the protection, support, and empowerment of women—the unsung backbone of Ukrainian society—many of whom are facing loss, displacement, and instability due to the ongoing conflict.
 

Our work centers on supporting the families of Ukraine's fallen defenders, including Gold Star Widows and families of Fallen Heroes, as well as those whose loved ones are Missing in Action or Prisoners of War. We provide essential emotional, financial, and logistical assistance to those who have lost their primary breadwinners and caretakers in this war.
 

Beyond supporting these families, we also serve veterans, displaced persons, and the families of children who have been illegally deported, ensuring they receive the resources, legal aid, and recognition they deserve.
 

The community hubs will offer safe spaces with counseling, career training, and support for those in need. They will also honor Ukraine's female veterans, celebrating their contributions and providing a place to share their stories. These hubs aim to bring hope, healing, and opportunities for a better future.
 

At the core of ForUA is a deep commitment to the women of Ukraine, who are carrying the burden of this protracted conflict, often while caring for children and elderly relatives. In the face of profound grief and hardship, we stand with them, offering not only practical aid but also spaces for empowerment, solidarity, and healing—providing long-term support as they navigate the complexities of loss and rebuild their lives
